How PPWR-Ready works — from the first login to ongoing reporting
This guide walks through the entire system once: how a new customer starts, what each area of the sidebar actually does, and what day-to-day operation looks like.
First steps as a new customer
Four phases up to the first ongoing report — visible as a progress bar at the top of the dashboard.

Sign-up — create an account
You register, enter your company details and choose a plan — optionally the permanently free entry plan without a credit card. No paperwork, just a few minutes. Step by step, with screenshots.

Grant power of attorney
You grant PPWR-Ready the power of attorney to act as your authorised representative before the competent authority. For Verpact (Netherlands) the signature runs through an embedded signing flow directly in the dashboard, with no printing. For LUCID (Germany), § 35(2) sentence 5 VerpackG requires written form in German: the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister demands a handwritten signature or a qualified electronic signature from both parties. For this the dashboard produces the German-language power-of-attorney document for printing or for signing with a qualified certificate.

Registration with the authority & EPR number
Netherlands: PPWR-Ready handles registration with Verpact on your behalf — you do not enter into the contractual relationship yourself. Germany: registration in LUCID must by law be done in person (§ 9 in conjunction with § 35(2) sentence 1 VerpackG); the dashboard guides you through the registration with prepared data, in which you enter PPWR-Ready as authorised representative. The authorisation takes effect as soon as we confirm it in LUCID. Once the official registration number is available it is stored in the dashboard and you receive your proof of representation for download.

Ongoing volume reporting
From here on it is ongoing operation: document and report packaging volumes continuously — manually in the dashboard, automatically via API from your own system, or automatically through the Shopify plugin or the Shopware interface.
Overview — your start screen
The OVERVIEW area: dashboard, tasks, PPWR review, open PPWR items and the compliance pipeline.
Your progress
The four onboarding phases from above as a status bar — sign-up, power of attorney, EPR number, report volumes. Stays visible after completion.
Warning cards
Two notice blocks when action is needed: “Packaging items with missing data” (leads to the open PPWR items, chapter 6) and “Unreviewed sanctions-list hits” (leads to the check in the ESG area, chapter 8).
Widgets
Tiles with key figures (synchronised orders, Verpact savings, calculated authority fees, reported volume). Via + Add widget freely composable.
